SMB Officials was formed because I saw a need for a different type of officiating culture. Officials helping officials was the vision. Since 2005, we have been able to grow this positive philosophy resulting in training over 600 successful officials. Success is relative. These officials are a productive member of the basketball community. SUCCESS!

With my military background as a Drill Sergeant, my Masters in Computer Science, and years attending some of the best basketball camps in the nation, I have been able to design a four-step proprietary process that has resulted in the acceleration of officials growth.

The people that have decided they want to be good at officiating have become accomplished in the basketball community. Some have moved on to college level basketball or the grassroots NBA training program. Some have strengthened their high school schedule with more games and post season play. Some others became coaches with programs that are doing very well. We encourage everyone to follow their dreams.
